MOJO91 - Challenge

Very late in getting my post up for this week. This is the Father's Day card I made for my hubby. I really liked how it turned out; although I wasn't sure about the sketch when I first checked it out last Monday. The DP is Cosmo Cricket is Gretel:Hansel (picked this up at the store I visited in Hilton Head). The metal emblishment and ribbons are from the May Kit from Taylored Expressions. I signed up for Taylor's kits for three months and have loved everyone of them! What could be more fun than receiving a mystery box each month filled with everything I need to make some beautiful cards??

My mind does wander, but back to the card. I ran some SU Very Vanilla through my BigKick using a Swirl Template. That is what I attached to the top 1/3 of my base. Added a piece of Chocolate Satin ribbon to the bottom of the panel. Then layered the DP and my stamped image, which I sponged and framed with SU Chocolate Chip Ink and Paper. The stamped image was attached to the frame using dimensionals to give the card some depth. I used my SU Scalloped Oval Punch for my sentiment base, while the sentiment itself was stamped on SU Very Vanilla and punched with my SU Word Window punch. I attached the two with a metal brad and clip from Taylored Expressions May Kit and added a small piece of vanilla twill ribbon to finish it off.
